Robert K. Ramsby, 58, of Rockford died at 10:05p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, in his residence. Born Oct. 20, 1944, in Rockford, son of Ralph and Ione (Krug) Ramsby. Served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an electrician and member of IBEW Local 364 working at the Byron nuclear plant before retiring in 2001. Member of First Assembly of God Church. Survived by father, Ralph Ramsby of Rockford; sons, Scott (Lisa) Ramsby of Winnebago and Kevin (Sara) Ramsby of Detroit; brothers, Ron (Linda) Ramsby of Indiana and Lloyd (Linda) Ramsby of Rockford; grandchildren, Gavin, Colin, Noah and Caitlin. Predeceased by mother, Ione Krug Ramsby.  Services at 7p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, with the Rev. Dan Qualls officiating.
