Beverly (Hodges) "Bev" K. Bird

January 11, 1944 - January 18, 2019

Beverly “Bev” K. Bird, 75, of Clinton, WI, died Friday, January 18, 2019 in her home. She was born January 11, 1944 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Eston and Inez (Williams) Hodges. Bev was a graduate of Auburn High School. She married her longtime love of 43 years, Roger Bird. Bev owned and operated Bird’s Family Concessions.

Survivors include her husband, Roger of Clinton, WI; children, Dana (Shawn) Duffey of Rockford, IL, Jennifer (Jeff) Lambrecht of Navarre, FL, Paula Buscema of Clinton, WI, and Nicholas Selk of Rockford, IL; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Doug (Gail) Hodges, Nancy Remmers, Jim (Phyllis) Hodges all of Arkansas and Steven (Sylvia Gorman) Hodges of Rockford, IL; mother-in-law, Frieda Elizabeth Bird of Stockton, IL; brothers-in-law, Robert Bird of Genoa, IL, and Richard Bird of Freeport, IL; sister-in-law, Eva (Paul) Evans of Stockton, IL; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Carol Hodges.

A memorial service for Bev will be held at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family.
