ROSS L. CLIFFORD, 63 CHERRY VALLEY - Ross L. Clifford, 63, of Cherry Valley died Aug. 15, 2007, in Northwoods Health Care Center, Belvidere, after a brief illness. Ross was born June 13, 1944, in Belvidere the son of Ross Lee and Dorothy (Bounds) Clifford. He was a sports writer and photographer for the Boone County Journal and the Belvidere Republican newspapers. He lived all his life in the Cherry Valley area. Survived by a brother, Edward A. (Pattie) Clifford of Cherry Valley; and a sister, May A. (Ronald) Keenan of Aurora. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private interment in Arlington Memorial Park, Rockford. Arrangements by Belvidere Funeral Home, 203 Logan Ave., Belvidere.
