KENNETH D. CONLEY, 63 COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. - Kenneth D. Conley, 63, of Cottage Grove, formerly of Lena, Ill., died at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, in his residence. Born April 15, 1944, in Woodstock, Ill., the son of Everett and Doris (Burton) Conley. Graduated from Auburn High School in 1962 and from the University of Illinois in 1966. Veteran of the U.S. Army, served during the Vietnam era. Married Ada Sinkiawic on Oct. 12, 1968, in Rockford, Ill. Retired from Honeywell in Freeport, Ill., after 37 years of service. He was an avid bicyclist. Survivors include wife, Ada; daughter, Eva (Javier) Ortega of Madison; son, Shaun Conley of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Ezra, Ariel and Ethan; mother, Doris Conley of St. Charles, Mo.; sister, Sandra (John) Rhodes of St. Charles; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father. Service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, Ill., with the Rev. Donald Lyon officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Faith Center Building Fund.
