MELVIN FLOYD MANLEY, 67 ROCKFORD - Melvin Floyd Manley, 67, of Rockford died at 2:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born Dec. 31, 1944, to Carol and Grace (Stauber) Manley. He was an Army veteran and in the first graduating class of Auburn High School in 1962. Survivors include brothers, Donald (Evelyn) Manley of Machesney Park and Norman (Betty) Manley of Texas and sister, Patricia Manley of California. Predeceased by brother, William Manley. Service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home, 304 N. Fifth St., Rockford, with the Rev. Wendell Maynard of Firstborn Ministries officiating.
