Ronnie was one of my very best friends all through grade school days at Whig Hill School in the 1950s where Ronnie was one of the smartest kids in our class. We lived in the same neighborhood and did a lot of goofy stuff together, and when I had my paper route when I was 11 or 12 years old, Ronnie would often go "collecting" with me around the neighborhood at night...which often led to various forms of mischief. Even though I hadn't seen him since the 1970s, it was a real shock to see the sad news of his accident. Ronnie was a really good guy and had a great sense of humor.
