Patricia E. "Pat" Wright, 78, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday morning, August 16, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 14, 1944 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Leo and Irene (Bolzak) Pastuska. She married William P. Wright in the early 1970's. Pat worked as a beautician in her home for over 30 years, as well as at Video Unlimited. She retired from Broadway Florist after 20 years of service. Pat was an active member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and went on to join St. Rita's Catholic Church. She was a member and leader of TOPS for 33 years. Pat also belonged to the Red Hat Society. She was an avid bowler; participated and served as secretary on many leagues. Most of all, Pat adored spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her children, John (Edna) Wick, Edward (Lori) Wick, Steven (Laura) Wright and Susann (Mike Martindale) Wright; grandchildren, Jessica (Matt Streit) Wick, Jaquelyn Wick, Tyler South, Stephanie Wick, William L. Wright, Breanna Martindale, Jackson and Joshua Martindale; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Leo "Butch" (Marsha) Pastuska, Carol (Gene) Smith, Dan (Connie) Pastuska; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, sister Nancy (Mike) Reed, brother Michael (Jan) Pastuska and brother-in-law, Gary Smith.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 21, 2023 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109 with a visitation to be held from 10:00 until the time of service.
